How do you attach pics to posts if I click the image icon it just prints in the post. It doesn't give me an option to browse for the pic I want to upload.

Right Put in you text and then pres enter so you are on the next line .
Then at the bottom of the page on the left are two option boxes

Click on attach files. Then click on Post.
Then it will go back and you will see a box that says browse click on this and select your photo and when it ha uploaded over on the right click on 'Back'

Thanks, gave it a go and its showing as a link. Is that because of the size of the file, should I have resized it, and if so what is the optimum size?

You need your photo in a file on your desk top or documents. It it's file on another site I don't now. I always use files in my computer as other websites can go down then the link is lost along with the photo. Also you need a picture size of 800 dpi and medium res really
