This one has been frustrating me for about six weeks now. A tiny blue wild flower growing on the way leave. I trawled through hundreds of pages of wild flowers and I just couldn't find anything that looked like this.

Silly Speckler. rolleyes I do know what it is now. Some of you might recognise it instantly. Different backgrounds I suppose. I have actually planted it many times myself but it didn't look quite like this.

Care to tell me what it is? I would be really chuffed if nobody knew, I wouldn't feel such an "Idjit"

Beautiful, wild and free (just a little bit out of context)

Whadja think?

A first site it looks like Lobelia but I think it is one of the "Eye Brights" a group of very similar tiny flowers, some are white but this seems to be one of the more noticeable ones.

Well done Len thumbs up

I was thinking Eye Bright but I just couldn't find one that looked like this.

The RHS tell me it is an escapee, cultivated Lobelia and I think I believe them.

Take a look at Lobelia Erinus

I should have just asked you six weeks ago rolleyes . Anyway, thanks for confirming my idiocy, lol It is OK , I have suspected this for a long time.

I just wasn't looking for Lobelia on a forest path.

Thanks for the answer.
